Selling Tips – Enthusiastic Attitude

There is no substitute for enthusiasm.  When the members of a team are enthusiastic, the whole team becomes highly energized.  And that energy produces power.

Have you ever noticed the difference passion makes?  How many dispassionate successes have you met?  How many high achievers lack enthusiasm?  How many great leaders do you admire who were indifferent?

Passion opens the door to achievement.  When you’re passionate about what you are doing, commitment naturally follows.  You don’t have to try to produce perseverance – it sweeps over you like an ocean wave.

Think about people who bring an enthusiastic attitude to teamwork and you will realize that they…

♦Take Responsibility for Their Own Enthusiasm

Successful people understand that attitude is a choice – and that includes enthusiasm.  If you want to be positive, upbeat, and passionate, you need to take responsibility for being that way.

♦Spend Time with Other Enthusiastic People

If you want to increase your enthusiasm, hang around with enthusiastic people.  Enthusiasm is contagious.  It’s difficult to remain neutral or indifferent in the presence of a positive thinker.

♦Believe in What They Do

Think about all the positive aspects of your work.  Believing in what you do and focusing on those positive beliefs will help you to act and to speak positively about what you’re doing.  That helps to spark the fire of enthusiasm inside you.

♦Show a Sense of Urgency

Identify a market that you are currently less enthusiastic about than you should be.  Give yourself deadlines for completing steps that are a little more ambitious than you feel comfortable with.  By providing yourself with a timetable, you will be more focused and energized.

♦Be Willing to Do More

Go the Extra Mile.

♦Strive for Excellence

The best preparation for good work tomorrow is to do good work today.
