Centerpoint Connect + Acumatica · Accounting & ERP

Bring roofing invoices

Connect Centerpoint Connect invoicing to Acumatica, with customer links, configurable accounting fields and optional service-ticket project tasks.

Capabilities depend on the configured workflow. Production-to-project automation is separately scoped and validated before launch.

Connect operations and accounting

Carry the service details forward.

Send invoices with one action

The documented invoice workflow uses the Sync To Acumatica action from the Centerpoint invoice page.

Keep customer links explicit

Link a Centerpoint company to the matching Acumatica customer through its external identifier.

Fit the accounting structure

Configure supported invoice detail fields by work type, including values drawn from agreed custom fields.

Core invoice workflow

What the connection carries.

Documented Acumatica invoice and optional project-task workflow
Record or field How it is used Setup consideration
Customer reference Centerpoint company external ID identifies the Acumatica customer. The core invoice workflow links existing customer records; it does not automatically create customers.
Invoice details Invoice date, subtotal and work-order reference populate the Acumatica AR invoice. Validate tax, totals and the accounting treatment with your finance team.
Property address The service property address supplies ship-to information. Confirm required address fields and the endpoint configuration.
Service ticket / project task An optional project task can associate the work order with an Acumatica project. Requires the project link and corresponding custom-field mapping.
Accounting fields Supported detail fields can be configured by work type and custom-field value. Confirm account, sub-account, salesperson and other required mappings for your environment.

How it works

Review. Sync. Reconcile.

  1. Link the customer

Set the Centerpoint company external identifier to the matching Acumatica customer ID. Confirm existing customer records before the first invoice.

  2. Prepare the invoice

Review the service invoice, property address and required accounting fields. If project tasks are enabled, include the agreed Acumatica project link.

  3. Sync to Acumatica

Use the invoice-page action to send the supported invoice fields to Acumatica. Optional project-task associations follow the configured workflow.

  4. Check the result

Review the created AR invoice and any project-task association in Acumatica. Resolve missing fields or mapping exceptions before treating the records as reconciled.

Additional workflow scope

Connect production to projects—when it fits.

Production-to-project automation is a separate implementation path. It can be scoped to resolve customers, create or update project records, associate a default task and match the intended project manager.

Define the matching rules

Agree how existing customers are identified, whether new customer creation is permitted, which customer classes apply and how Centerpoint users map to active Acumatica employees.

Validate the full result

Required fields, endpoint coverage, manager assignment, project and task activation, and exception handling need validation in a test environment before go-live. Project creation alone does not confirm activation.

Ask our team which production workflows are available for your environment. This scope is separate from the core invoice integration above.

Getting started

Build around your Acumatica setup.

Start with your Centerpoint and Acumatica teams together. Confirm the target workflow, authorize the connection, map required fields and test representative records before launch.

  • Acumatica environment, version and required modules
  • Authorized integration access and supported web-service fields
  • Existing customer IDs and agreed linking rules
  • Work types, project links and accounting mappings
  • Responsibility for reviewing exceptions and reconciling records
  • Separate validation of any payment, budget or production scope

Questions teams ask

The details that matter before setup.

Are new customers created automatically?

In the core invoice workflow, existing customers are linked by ID. Automatic customer creation belongs to a separately configured workflow and requires agreed matching and customer-class rules.

Is the invoice sync automatic?

The documented core workflow is initiated from the Centerpoint invoice page with Sync To Acumatica. Confirm any scheduled or extended automation separately.

Can service tickets be linked to projects?

Yes, optional service-ticket project tasks are supported when the required project link and custom-field configuration are in place.

Does this include payments, budgets or job-cost data?

Do not assume these are part of the core invoice setup. Ask the team to confirm the available flows, direction and validation requirements for your implementation.

What if a production project manager cannot be matched?

In the scoped production workflow, missing required manager information prevents new project creation until it is resolved. The connection does not automatically create an employee.

Can we see it with our own workflow?

Yes—bring your invoice process, customer-linking rules and project requirements to a discovery call. The team can review the appropriate scope and testing plan.
